The Financial Times wouldn’t publish this Amnesty International ad, but I guess the internets will. This is not related to the Gulf of Mexico but the environmental results of extraction efforts in both Nigeria and off the Eastern Seaboard will be much the same.
While I can’t fully type out my position on the Gulf oil disaster right now (although you can probably guess what it entails if you know me), I do think BP’s callous dismissal of, and utter lack of preparation for this disaster is insanely criminal.
Anyhow, reblog at will.
